Why we built this

Most enterprise software is built to fit everyone. Which means it doesn't fit you.

Big ERP and CRM platforms are general-intent — they have to be, built to sell to everyone from chemical manufacturers to non-profits. You pay for that generality: schemas that almost fit, modules you don't need, modules you do need sold separately, and migrations that drag on for months because the system was never shaped to your data.

More than 70% of ERP implementations miss their original business goals — usually because the system was built for an industry, not the business it lands in. The smaller you are, the worse the fit. The larger you are, the more politics it takes to fix.

AsymmFlow starts from the other end: we begin with how your team actually moves work, and build the system around it. Modular by design. Local-first by default. Shaped to fit.

What it actually does

Seven capabilities most ERPs in this segment can't touch.

Not a feature checklist — these are the things that change how the day actually feels. Every one of them is live in the build deployed in Bahrain.

AI document intake

Drop it in. It knows what it is.

Drop a PDF, Word, Excel, email, or scan onto the app. It classifies the document — RFQ, invoice, PO, delivery note, bank statement — with a confidence score, pulls out the fields and line items, and files it into the right record for you to confirm. The single biggest data-entry bottleneck in a trading company, gone.

Two-stage classifier · RBAC-checked routing

AI-assisted bank reconciliation

Reconciled — not just imported.

Import statements from NBB, Al Salam, KFH, or any CSV/PDF. A local parser runs first; when a bank quietly changes its format, AI extraction takes over — then validates the balance arithmetic before anything is trusted. Auto-match, manual match, and split allocation close the month in hours, not days.

Multi-bank · balance-validated · full audit trail

Engineering-grade costing

Quotes that enforce your margin policy.

True landed cost per line in any currency mix (BHD, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF) — FOB, freight, customs, insurance, handling. Supplier-specific margin floors are enforced at approval, hidden charges stay off the customer PDF, and credit rules trigger automatically. No underpriced deal leaves the building.

Multi-currency · margin floors enforced at approval

Butler intelligence

Ask your business a question. Get a real answer.

Type a question in plain language — “What’s our total open AR this quarter?” — and Butler queries your live database and answers with real figures, not a guess. Finance data is redacted by role before the model ever sees it. Every answer comes with action buttons to navigate or create the next record.

Grounded in live data · role-aware redaction

Customer grading

Your credit policy enforces itself.

Each customer is graded A–D from their actual payment behaviour, scored by a proprietary geometric model under the hood. A low grade automatically requires advance payment at the costing step — nobody can quietly quote a risky account on open terms.

Behaviour-based grades · automatic credit enforcement

Compliant documents

NBR-ready from day one.

Every invoice can generate a GCC/NBR-aligned UBL 2.1 e-invoice — the machine-readable format tax authorities accept — sealed with a tamper-evident hash, plus a VAT-return CSV with the right statuses already filtered. All commercial PDFs render bilingual English/Arabic with proper right-to-left shaping — built in, not bolted on.

UBL 2.1 · tamper-evident hashing · Arabic RTL

Offline-first, self-hosted

Your data. Your office. Your rules.

The full ERP runs with no internet at all. Your operating data is a single file on your machine — copy it, back it up, hand it to your auditor. When you want more than one machine, they sync directly to each other over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection — no server, no hosting bill. Cloud is only ever an optional assist for AI extraction, never where your books live.

100% offline · your hardware · books never in the cloud

How a deal actually moves

One thread, end to end. Nothing re-keyed.

A technical sale touches a dozen documents. In AsymmFlow they're one continuous thread: every stage hands its data to the next, so a number typed at costing is the same number on the invoice. Walk the thread — or pick any stage.

Record

Inquiry

Creates
An enquiry record — who asked, for what, and when.
Enforces
Duplicate detection, so the same enquiry is never logged twice.
Carries forward
Customer and requirement — into the RFQ.
Built-in chain of custody

Every unit, traceable for life.

Sell to an enterprise, a government body, or an oil & gas buyer and they'll eventually ask: where has this exact unit been? AsymmFlow answers it. A serial captured at goods-in is tracked through every step to the customer — and the warranty clock.

Serial SVX-4471 custody unbroken
  1. Received Captured at goods receipt (GRN)
  2. QC passed Inspected before it can move
  3. Dispatched Allocated to a delivery note
  4. Invoiced Printed on the customer invoice
  5. With customer Warranty clock started

The same lineage powers three-way matching (PO / GRN / invoice) and calibration-certificate attachment — the audit trail enterprise and government buyers demand, generated as you work.

About the engine room

Custom software, at modern speed.

The math on custom software has changed. 75% of new code at Google is now AI-suggested, edited and reviewed by human engineers — up from 50% the previous fall. What hasn't changed is the architect's role: a capable architect with good methodology moves faster than ever, and the great ones never were average.

That's what makes a system shaped to your business viable for a small or mid-sized company in 2026 in a way it wasn't a decade ago. Often it's the cheaper option — and the only one that actually fits.

What you're actually getting

Five things we offer that scale-to-fit-everyone platforms structurally can't.

Local-first by default. Your operating data lives on your machines. Optional cloud sync where it earns trust. Native desktop app on Windows and macOS — opens instantly, no browser tab roulette.

Modular by design. Configured to your business at deployment, not one-size-fits-all. You only carry the capabilities your team uses.

Owner-priced. We own the product, so we set the price. No license-tier roulette, no per-seat games. Substantial discounts for early customers.

Fast to deliver. Our engines aren't the bottleneck. If your team can give us a coherent picture of how work moves, we can build to it quickly.

Shaped for the regions we deploy in. First-class Arabic text shaping, currency-precision accounting (BHD, SAR, USD), VAT-aware billing, PDF invoices on your letterhead. Localization done right, not bolted on.

Why own it

The system your business runs on should answer to you.

Your operating system holds your business the way a safe holds your cash, your contracts, your company seal.

You wouldn’t rent that safe from someone who keeps a copy of the combination, opens it whenever he likes, sells the same model to your competitors down the road — and whose strongroom was broken into last month.

You’d own it. It sits in your office. Only you hold the key.

Software should work the same way.

That’s what local-first really buys you — not a technical preference, but the answer to a single question: who’s in control. Three shifts are pushing more operators to ask it out loud.

Security & data ownership

Your data, your hardware, your rules.

The questions operations-heavy businesses ask before trusting a system with their books. Here are the answers.

Your data never leaves your office

AsymmFlow runs fully offline and self-hosted. When you want more than one machine, they talk directly to each other over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection — no server in the middle, no hosting bill, and your books never touch a cloud.

Encrypted and tamper-evident

Sensitive data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. Documents and e-invoices carry tamper-evident HMAC hashes, so anything altered after the fact is detectable.

Access bound to roles

Five-role RBAC governs who sees and does what. Finance figures are redacted by permission before anyone — including Butler, the AI assistant — ever sees them.

Hardened every release

Each build is put through red-team audit rounds and hardened before it reaches your machines. Security is a step in shipping, not an afterthought.

Compliant by construction

GCC/NBR-aligned VAT e-invoicing (UBL 2.1), VAT-return exports, and bilingual English/Arabic documents with proper right-to-left shaping — generated as you work.

You can always walk away

The core is open source on a dated AGPL→MIT clock, and your operating data is a file you can export and hand to your auditor. No lock-in, by design.

The mesh, the roadmap, and what's being delivered next — see the full picture →

The bigger idea

Sovereignty is the feature.

AsymmFlow's core is open source. Underneath the day-to-day software is a conviction: business tools should make you more capable, not more dependent. Four commitments hold that line.

You own it, not rent it.

Your operating data is a file you can copy, back up, and hand to your auditor without asking a vendor's permission. We don't host it. We can't see it. That isn't a limitation — it's the whole point.

It works when the internet doesn't.

Cloud ERP has a dirty secret: when the data centre goes down, your business goes dark. AsymmFlow runs on-device, full stop. Sync is there when you want it and irrelevant when you don't.

AI that knows its place.

Butler can read, explain, draft, and recommend across your whole operation. It cannot approve a payment, post a journal entry, or delete a record — ever. That's an architectural rule, not a setting. Intelligence to the operator; authority stays human.

Open source with a clock, not a mood.

Each release ships under AGPL and converts automatically to MIT two years later — forever. We only ever loosen. The conversion is dated and inevitable, so you never have to trust our future selves.

The mesh

Two offices. One set of books. No cloud in between.

The next chapter of AsymmFlow is running now, on real machines. Two computers, in two different places, each running AsymmFlow — talking directly to each other over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection. No server in the middle. No hosting bill. No IT department. Cut the internet and each office keeps working on its own; when the connection returns, they fold back to the same books automatically.

What matters for your books: every machine enforces the same rules. A quote below the margin floor, an invoice that doesn't add up, a payment nobody approved — rejected identically on every computer in the network, so the numbers can't quietly drift apart. And if a laptop is lost or someone leaves, their access is revoked from any office — with proof it happened.

Two physical machines, in two different locations, synced across the ordinary public internet — no server, no fixed address — and finished with byte-identical books on both.

The same link runs between India and Bahrain — a real continent-to-continent path, not a lab demo across a room.

A built-in messenger rides the same connection: chat, files, and voice notes living next to the records they're about, so what was said stays joined to what was done.

And what's being delivered next:

One-click install

A normal Windows installer — download, double-click, done. No command line, no technician visit.

Several companies, one system

Run multiple divisions or legal entities — each with its own tax registration — in a single install, and produce a separate, correctly-scoped VAT return for each.

Saudi e-invoicing (ZATCA)

The cryptographic engine — signed invoices, QR codes, tamper-evident hash chains — is built and tested; certification against the government gateway is the step in progress.

If your business runs across more than one office — or you simply want your books to live on your machines instead of a data centre — this is live infrastructure, demonstrated across a real WAN between India and Bahrain, and rolling out with our customers now. It isn't a promise for later; it's running today.

In active development

Deployed for PH Trading, Bahrain.

The version of AsymmFlow we're going public with is the one we've been building for PH Trading WLL — a process-instrumentation distributor in Bahrain — through fifteen-plus rounds of feedback. It's in production with their team, and we're still incorporating what they find. That's exactly how we want it.

A real team runs their whole operation on it — sales, procurement, finance, documents, and people — every working day, with role-bound access per user.

Every release is put through red-team audit rounds and hardened before it reaches their machines.

It runs fully offline; their operating data stays on their own hardware in Bahrain, syncing only when they choose.

If you're a small or mid-sized business with operations that don't fit templates — especially a regional supplier or distributor whose customers include enterprise-tier organizations — we'd rather work with you the same way: closely, in honest iterations, until what we ship actually matches how you work.

How we're shipping

Built in the open, shaped by the work it runs.

We're a small studio, and we'd rather you meet the product we're actually shaping than a polished promise. What you see here is the real system — running a real business in Bahrain, hardened through dozens of red-team rounds, and built the way we'll build yours: in close, honest iterations until it matches how you work.

That's the trade we're offering — a product that's shaped by the people who run it, in exchange for early customers who tell us what they find. We discount generously for them, because their feedback is how we get better. If that's a trade you'd take, read on.

The two questions you're probably about to ask

How long does it take? How much does it cost?

Time

Onboarding ranges from a few weeks to a few months, depending on how coherent the picture of your existing operations is. The faster you can describe how work actually moves through your team, the faster we can build a system around it. (Industry average for SMB ERP rollouts is 3-9 months — we aim to compress that significantly when your data story is clear.)

Money

Pricing reflects scope. Industry pricing for SMB-tier ERP/CRM ranges from roughly $25 to $400+ per user per month at the major platforms; we don't list a single number publicly because every deployment is shaped differently and we discount substantially for early customers. The honest path is: tell us about your operation, and we'll tell you a number.

Questions, answered

The things people ask before they commit.

Where does my data live — and who can see it?

On your own machines. AsymmFlow is local-first and self-hosted; when you want more than one machine they sync directly, peer to peer — no server in the middle. We don't host your data and we can't see it. Inside your team, access is bound to roles.

What happens if Asymmetrica disappears?

You keep running. The app works fully offline, your data is a file you control, and every release ships under AGPL and converts to MIT two years later on a dated clock. You're never dependent on us staying alive.

Do I need to be online to use it?

No. The full ERP runs with no internet at all. Sync is peer-to-peer and bidirectional — useful when you want it, irrelevant when you don't.

Can I export my data?

Yes — it's your file. Reports and ledgers export to standard formats, and the database is yours to back up or hand to an auditor at any time.

How are updates and support handled?

Directly. You message us on WhatsApp or email and reach the people who actually build the product. Each release is red-team hardened before it reaches your machines.

How is it priced?

By scope, not per-seat tiers — and we discount substantially for early customers. Tell us how your operation runs and we'll give you a real number.

How long does deployment take?

A few weeks to a few months, depending on how clearly you can describe how work moves through your team. The clearer the picture, the faster we build to it.

Is it only for Bahrain or the Gulf?

It's built GCC-first — BHD and multi-currency, VAT and NBR-aligned e-invoicing, bilingual English/Arabic. India-market modules are in development. And because it's offline-first, it runs anywhere.

Do you handle VAT, e-invoicing, and compliance?

Yes — UBL 2.1 e-invoices with tamper-evident hashing, VAT-return exports, and bilingual documents on your letterhead, generated as you work.

Tell us how your business runs. We'll tell you whether we can help.

AsymmFlow's flagship configuration is what we're deploying with PH Trading — but the practice extends to bespoke systems for adjacent operations. We answer our own messages.
